Import Your League →In auction keeper leagues, each player has a dollar cost that determines their keeper price. Common formats include escalating costs (price increases each year you keep a player), flat costs (keep at original draft price), fixed increments (+$5 per year), and percentage-based increases (+10% compounding per year). Free agent pickups typically use a multiplier of the waiver bid as their keeper basis.
In snake draft keeper leagues, keepers cost a draft round pick. The most common format moves keepers up one round per year (a player drafted in Round 8 costs Round 7 the next year, then Round 6). Other formats include keeping at the original draft round, all keepers costing a 1st round pick, all keepers costing the last round pick, or moving up 2 rounds per year for faster escalation.
Leagues handle undrafted players differently. Common rules include: free agents cannot be kept, FAs cost the last round pick, FAs cost a fixed dollar amount, or FAs cost 2x the winning waiver bid. This calculator supports all these rules and lets you customize the specific values for your league.
Most keeper leagues limit how long you can keep a player (typically 1–3 years) and how many keepers each team can designate (usually 1–5). Some leagues restrict keeping kickers or defenses. This calculator lets you configure all of these settings to match your league's exact rules.
