Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using The Front Office ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Front Office is a companion tool for ESPN, Sleeper, and Yahoo fantasy football leagues. We provide AI-generated recaps, keeper cost calculations, manager analytics, historical standings, and other league management tools. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ESPN, Disney, Yahoo, Sleeper, or any of their subsidiaries.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Platform Data & Credentials

To use the Service, you may connect your ESPN, Sleeper, or Yahoo fantasy football account. ESPN requires browser-based authentication cookies (SWID and S2). Yahoo uses OAuth 2.0 authorization. Sleeper requires only a public username. By providing credentials or authorizing access, you:

  • Confirm you are authorized to access the leagues you import.
  • Understand that credentials and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and used solely to fetch league data on your behalf.
  • Acknowledge that ESPN, Yahoo, or Sleeper may change their platforms at any time, which could affect the Service's ability to import data.
  • Can disconnect your platform credentials at any time from your account settings.

5. Billing, Auto-Renewal & Refunds

The Service offers two billing options: Annual (billed once per year) and Seasonal Monthly (billed monthly during the fantasy football season, approximately August through January).

  • Payment: All payments are processed through Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method.
  • Auto-Renewal: All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Annual plans renew on the anniversary of your purchase. Seasonal monthly plans renew each month during the active season. You will be charged at the then-current rate unless you cancel.
  • Promotional Pricing: If you subscribed using a promotional code (e.g., FOUNDERS, EARLYBIRD), the promotional discount applies to the first billing period only. Your subscription will renew at the standard published rate unless otherwise stated in the promotion's terms.
  • Renewal Notification: We will send you an email reminder at least 30 days before your annual subscription renews, or at least 7 days before a monthly renewal, to the email address on your account.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period.
  • Refunds: We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service. After 14 days, or for renewal charges, refunds are provided at our discretion. Contact us at the email below to request a refund.
  • Plan changes: You may upgrade your plan at any time; the change takes effect immediately and you are charged the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes apply at your next renewal — your current billing period is not affected.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) and a system of 10 specialized analysis agents to generate weekly recaps, trade analysis, lineup recommendations, and other content. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, humor, or language that does not reflect our views.
  • You control the tone setting (PG, PG-13, R, Unhinged) and are responsible for the tone you select and share with your league. Higher aggressiveness settings (R, Unhinged) may produce profanity, personal roasts, and edgy humor targeted at league members by name.
  • Unhinged mode disclaimer: Content generated with the "Unhinged" setting is intended as satirical humor between league members who know each other. It may contain strong language, exaggerated insults, and provocative commentary. This content is not intended for public distribution. You accept full responsibility for sharing Unhinged-mode content outside your league.
  • AI recaps are generated using your league's scores, rosters, and manager names. No additional personal data is sent to AI providers.
  • We are not liable for any offense, disputes, or consequences arising from AI-generated content shared within your league.

6a. Keeper Calculator & Analytics Disclaimer

The keeper cost calculator, draft spend analysis, trade analyzer, and lineup recommendations are tools to assist your decision-making. Keeper costs shown are based on standard escalation rules and may not match your league's specific keeper rules — always verify with your commissioner. Fantasy projections, matchup analysis, and player evaluations are estimates and should not be the sole basis for lineup or trade decisions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the Service's source code.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service beyond normal usage patterns.
  • Upload malicious content, including but not limited to malware, through writing samples or other upload features.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Shipyard Labs LLC, operating as The Front Office Fantasy. Your league data remains yours — we claim no ownership over data imported from ESPN or content you create within the Service. AI-generated recaps are provided for your use within your league and may be shared freely.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of imported data, or availability of ESPN, Sleeper, or Yahoo integrations. These platforms may change at any time, which could temporarily or permanently affect certain features.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shipyard Labs LLC (operating as The Front Office Fantasy) and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Ohio.
